I used to give my buddy Kevin cd-rs containing scraps of song ideas I had. He re-fashioned this particular one a few years ago and made it way better. I really like it.

My uncles had a band in the 60s called the Bushmen, they had a #1 hit in Vermont in “Nobody’s Child.” My uncle Chris sent me a compilation of their stuff a few years ago. This is a Bushmen song called “You Stayed” that he re-recorded sometime in the 80s with a drum machine and his Rickenbacker (12 string I think). So, you see, an interest in jangly Rickenbacker tones runs in the family.
